Application Bulletin
HeBran Shrink Fittings utilize CE UL-listed Flame-retarded plastics mounted to our UL approved translucent heat-shrinkable molded tubings, to protect from the ingress of moisture or un-intended vapors and gasses.
Approved and suitable for usage in wet or extreme high heat environments for enhanced electrical sealing at feed-thru points for lamp fixtures, firewalls, control boxes and more. Rated for up to 600V or 1000 watts. Our adhesive lined Dual Walled, Shrinking technology seals from the ingress of moisture or un-intended vapors and gasses even in extreme environments. Our engineered Electrical Feed-Thru products were designed to meet the requirements of the US Department of Defense (DOD-STD-2003) NavSea approved seals with modern materials to accommodate today's more stringent electrical codes and modern lower voltage wire sizes. A proven solution to provide a water tight, vapor proof seal; where cables enter connection/junction boxes, bulkheads & Firewalls.
Micro-Seals Data, All of HeBran Micro-Seals sizes are available with a Metal body option. All thread sizes are Standard and all of our parts will fit together Male-Female accordingly. Additionally lock-Nuts are available for all Male sizes. Please ask for help with Adhesive Linings for Dual Walled protection. We offer a large variety of linings all engineered and approved to meet specific design paramaters.
For orders over 1000 pieces we require a 3 week lead time before shipping. Our parts are molded documented and then hand assembled before a final inspection & material traceability process.
Our products are hand assembled and inspected thoroughly during the various stages of production. We are able to provide documentation and traceability of all compounds and components utilized during the production process.
- Standard sized NPT and IPS threads to interchange with each other & common industry related electrical fittings (110v Lamps, 12v & 24v Switches)
- Ridged Fitting mounted to a UL approved Translucent Shrink Boots suitable for weatherproofing electrical cable penetrations
- ideally suited for salt water or exterior applications engineerd from corrosion resistant materials for the U.S. Navy
- Reduces cable strain by offering support to the wires passing through the connector as the boot remains flexible to provide fatigue resistance
