Not just the huge hole, but the undue wire fatigue induced by extreme boot wall thickness defeats the entire design purpose of a penetration seal. ![]() HeBran offers smaller sized UL approved alternatives. Our smallest Shrink Fitting the M-1 is a threaded ridged plastic able to thread into common sheet metal with 9/32 hole. The clear flexible shrinking boot on the HeBran M-1 recovers to only 4mm. ![]() ![]() ![]() This months featured product on our Home Page; the next sized and most popular is our M-2. Standard 3/8 IPS thread Micro-Seal perfect as a feedthrough, firewall penetration. This seal shrinks to 0.19" recovering to encapsulate todays more common 110v wiring. These fitting also mate to our HeBran F-2 for double sided firewall coverage. Sometimes utilized as a strain relief for household appliance cords, lamps and outdoor ligting. Supplied with a Jam Nut or can be coupled with an F-2 for a Double Seal. All fittings are available in Metal as an option. ![]() ![]() Of course we cannot forget the M-2 Mate, our F-2. The plastic body material is CE UL-listed and safe from electric flaming with no fire hazard hard durable thermoform plastic corrosion proof and impervious to salt or moisture. Metal body parts can be substituted at the time of manufacture to exceed the requirements of the U.S. Navy and Aerospace industries. ![]() All Seal sizes are Available with Metal Bodys as an Option.
